You may be asking yourself, “My car is damaged, what now?”

Here are some simple tips for you when having to deal with a “hail” of a catastrophe (pun intended).

1. It may not seem like the damage is severe enough to call the insurance company to file a claim, but what a lot of customers don’t realize is that the hail damage may actually cost you thousands of dollars to repair. Because damage to your vehicle is due to natural causes, putting in a comprehensive claim will not hurt your deductible.

We suggest to speak with your insurance company before taking any action with repairing your vehicle. Just like if you were in an accident, you would contact your insurance company first. We also suggest to make sure you have rental coverage. Just in case your vehicle is in the shop on the days you may need one.

2. Once the insurance company is contacted, they will send out an adjuster to estimate the damage of the vehicle. Once the paperwork has been completed, we suggest to call us or stop by the shop for a free estimate. Please note that being able to visibly see the damaged areas is the best way to get an estimate. We then use the insurance estimate to outline what the damage is on the vehicle. As trained PDR experts, the techs will make sure that your vehicle will be as good as new.

3. For customers without insurance or if you don’t want to turn in a claim, you are more than welcome to call or stop by for an estimate from one of our highly trained techs.

3. Drop your vehicle off and prepare to see the difference!
